Giff gaff is **bleep** I'm going back to Tesco, at least when your £20 free credit runs out you still have your original funds you added to spend... Giff gaff takes your free credit and leaves you with **bleep** all...

@evilm28 giffgaff free credit is a promotional joining bonus which remains until you use it up.

Unlike the Tesco notional credit which is a use it or lose it policy, each month, or it simply evaporates.

Tesco's free credit runs out after a month, giffgaff's doesn't. Calls on tesco are 25ppm compared to 15ppm on giffgaff, texts are 10p compared to 5p. Data is 10ppMb compared to 5ppMb. Getting help costs 20ppm on their phone line, here it's free (and usually better).

Let's say you make 50 minutes of calls, send 100 texts and use 500Mb of data in a month. On tesco, that would cost you £72.50, meaning you'd need a £25 top up. On giffgaff, all that would be covered by the £5 goodybag. Add in payback and free calls to other giffgaff users and I know which I'd choose Smiley Happy

But, good luck if that's what you want. If you'd like to take your number with you, head to this page to get a PAC code -

Hope that helps Smiley Wink
