I transferred my phone number from O2 couple months ago but it shows me giffgaff number again

I bought new phone and I can't use some things because I have to confirm my phone number and when i putting mine it shows me it's wrong phone number. My friend tried call me on that second phone number but it doesn't even work. Can someone explain me what's going on? My phone showing me completely different number than mine

Sounds like a split port issue, so contact an agent and they'll investigate this for you. Sometimes, the port files don't come in correctly after which you face problems.

Agents can take upto 24 hours to get back but it's quicker than that actually.
