Hi

I have a car that needs a SIM to make the most of phone connections. Is it possible to have 2 SIM cards on the same number, to make this work?

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the help section of giffgaff.

U fortunately it's not possible. You can activate another sim useing another account which will give you another number.

Then if your phone is a dual sim phone you could run the sims together.

It's actually against the law to have one mobile number running on one sim or even two sims having the same number.

Unless you clone the card..
By no network will give you the same number on more than 1 sim card as this can lead to all kinds of miss use or arguments.

Hi,

Its 1 sim per number.

However, if its just for incoming calls while your mobile is off, why not have another sim for your car and forward the calls to it whenever your mobile is off/out of signal?

This can be done with most, but I believe that as giffgaff to giffgaff calls are free, you would not have to pay for the forwarded call between two giffgaff sims.

(Perhaps someone who has used call forwading between giffgaff numbers could confirm this?)
