My network keeps disappearing and going to "emergency calls only". Infact it it doing it as I'm typing this. Tired of this now. Not had any problems till this o2 issue which is apparently fixed now which is totally false information clearly. Will be switching from giffgaff if this carries on. .

Hi @redranda I suggest you try turning your phone off, waiting a minute and then turn it back on (to force it to reconnect to the mobile network) to see if that fixes it.

If that doesn't work, you should see if there are any network problems where you are using the service status checker: https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Service-Updates/Service-Checker/td-p/17646124

If there are no network problems by you, see if doing a manual roam helps as described here http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/Force-the-change-of-SMS-settings/ta-p/4871794

Hi. What did the service checker say? If you haven't used it check using the link below.

Hi @redranda Follow this https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Settings-for-your-device/Internet-and-MMS-settings-APN-guide/ta-p/... guide to manually setup your phone with the data settings.

Also reboot your phone checks if may work.

I have done manual search, rebooted my phone, took sim out and put it back in, checked service checker which says everything's fine. And guess what? I still have h+ and losing network connection everyday. No it isn't is my phone, it's only done it since Thursday when o2 had issues.

hi @redranda

That's odd as the national outage should have been fixed by now.

I suggest you try the following:

- Can you verify if other local giffgaff / O2 users around you are still experiencing the same as you?

- Please test your giffgaff SIM in another unlocked phone

- Test different SIMs in your phone

A bit of a hassle but worth doing to narrow it down logically. Ask a friend or local phone shop to perform the tests.
