I had been outside of the UK for quite long time, and my SIM card is about to be deactivated by 9 June. However, I will be returning to UK on 17 June from Myanmar. Is there a possible way to keep my number as my frineds are in contact with me on that number?

Please suggest a way to extend my deactiviation date.

As there is no PAYG coverage in Myanmar (and so you can't make calls/use internet) your best bet would be to top up the credit on your account. This will keep your sim "alive" until you return

To keep the sim activated all that you need to do is pop the sim into a mobile and make a call of at least 1 minute long or send a text.

@ytippetts88

Cheapest way would be to send a text for 30p, or a MMS for 16p (both to a UK mobile)

(I assume that Myanmar is not in the EU area.)

If you are unable to connect to a roaming network at your current location, you can use the internet to topup your airtime credit with £10.

A £5 goodybag would also reset it, but the bag would be completely wasted, whereas the airtime credit can be used later.

The full list of methods are in section 13.3 of the Terms & Conditions.
