I am having trouble using the Ladbrokes app on my Android phone.  I am able to log into my account and deposit money but when I try and place a bet I'm getting the circle of dots and 'loading please wait' message.  I have been told that this is a known problem and that the fix is to disable 4G.  I'm not sure how to do this or whether it will help.  Any ideas?

@sjpau40
Hi, which phone do you have?
To switch to 3G/H
You need to change network mode

Depending on the phone, once you click settings, there may be a search option to look for the particular section you want to access
Search for

I take it you have enabled accesss to over 18 websites on your account with giffgaff and that’s not the problem?

I'm managing to place bets with other bookies so I don't think it's that - but thanks

I have enabled it just in case - no improvement at the moment.

I can only presume you can not place bet because you have not enabled adult content change that here with passport or driving license  https://giffgaff.com/profile/details

On a side note it works on my android phone and can place bets with any betting site

I think you may have cracked it! I Googled 'Samsung phone switch to 3G' and found step-by-step instructions. I have done a quick test on the Ladbrokes app and it seems to be working. Many many thanks.
