Report as lost/stolen - giffgaff will send out a replacement (likely to take 4-5 days though...)

Order giffgaff 3in1 SIM here (4-5day delivery)

Then do a SIM Swap to take across your phone number and any credit/goodybag you might have:

pop into local Iceland, Poundland, Sainsbury, Tesco for a 79p SIM (Quickest...)

@manisha06 >>>

Personally, i would report it as "lost or stolen" so that you can block the sim / phone so that if its found it cant be used, or theres a sim swap option if you have a spare unactivated giffgaff sim,

(Lost / Stolen / Replacement Sim)

Read/Follow the below >>>

⬜ 1, You need to go to ➜

(Ignore if you've already done this bit)

Info you need to know >>>

● The Lost SIM card will be blocked and the mobile etc will / can be IMEI Blacklisted

● This will prevent the finder etc from using it or selling it on

⬜ Please Note: You'll need to activate the SIM when it arrives (without topping up this time) and also you need to contact a agent to get the security bar taken off and to unblock the handset if you chose that option also.

Just To Add: Most sims dont need the bar removing. its only when it fails to lift automatically that you have to contact an agent

● Contact A Agent Here ➜

● Agent Replies : ➜

giffgaff agents work 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm

⬜ The new SIM will come with the same number and all the account details will be kept, including credit/goodybags / Payback points

( A Faster Process ) >>
Or there's the sim swap i was on about, this option would block the old sim once the sim swap has been activated but the sim swap option wouldn't block the phone, its entirely up to you.

( Sim Swap )

If you don't have a spare SIM card , Order Here > (you might have to log back in again)

- From giffgaff HQ - >>

● One SIM fits all -
The awesomely-designed giffgaff triple SIM fits all phones with its all-in-one standard, micro and nano SIM design.

- Sim Size -
As Follows:
● Standard Sim
● Micro Sim
● Nano Sim

( Just To Add ) >>

Some shops / supermarkets will sell giffgaff sim cards,

Such As:

• Tesco
• Poundland
• Mc'colls
• Sainsbury's and probably a few more places but those named above are known to sell them and I've also seen them myself, for around 99p each.

When you Order / Or get a spare SIM card or if you already have one ,You can do a Sim Swap and get everything transferred over to that SIM card you have swopped over to ( The spare giffgaff SIM card you ordered etc must be unactivated ) to do this process

● Transfer 's >>>
( • ) - Same Number - Account Etc
( • ) - Credit / Goodybag / Gigabags
( • ) - Community/Spreading giffgaff Payback

Dear @manisha06

Sorry to read of your situation this Afternoon about your lost SIM card.   You could do a couple of things in this situation.  You could either report to giffgaff that your SIM has been lost for a replacement to be sent, or, obtain a brand new giffgaff SIM and perform what is known as a SIM Swap procedure instead. Please see your options below (I would recommend option 2 - SIM Swap if you are in a hurry to get back up and running with giffgaff):-

If you happen to lose your SIM card and/or phone, please let Giffgaff know so they can block them. The Lost and stolen page guides you through the most appropriate solution for each situation. Giffgaff will send you a replacement SIM card with your current mobile number associated with it.

Let us know about your lost SIM (option to bar your phone and Sim card, or just your Sim card)

Learn more about lost and stolen SIM cards

When you have contacted Giffgaff requesting a replacement Sim card, it typically takes 1-3 working days for your new SIM to arrive and is sent by 1st class post, you'll need to activate it online when it arrives by logging into your account and clicking here.

Giffgaff advise you to activate the replacement SIM card as soon as your receive it as your goodybag / gigabag may still be active. You'll then be able to select to recur your chosen plan again.

If you have lost your giffgaff SIM card, you can replace it with a new SIM. This is what Giffgaff call a 'SIM swap'. Performing a SIM Swap transfers your Giffgaff mobile number and any airtime credit or goodybags you have active with us onto a new SIM card.

SIM and Number (change your SIM) – Please click or tap this link to view full procedure and to order a new SIM for the process (SIM delivery with 3 working days). Need your SIM quickly? Giffgaff SIM cards are now available to purchase in Tesco, Sainsbury's, Poundland and in more independent grocers and news agents around the country (Giffgaff in your local shop announcement).

Firstly, you will need to order a new giffgaff SIM. All our SIM cards are now multi-sized. It’s a Mini SIM which a Micro and Nano SIM can also pop out of, if required. Order Giffgaff SIM

It usually takes around 5 working days for a SIM to be dispatched and delivered. Once it arrives, you then perform the SIM Swap procedure. Sound complicated but thankfully it’s really easy to do.

To perform a SIM Swap:

1. Back-up any contacts, texts and other data saved on your current SIM to your phone memory or PC, as this cannot be transferred through SIM Swap.

2. Go to the Replace your SIM section of My giffgaff and click on 'Activate your SIM'.

NOTE: If you have an active PAC code on your account then the link above will not work for you. Instead follow this link to cancel the PAC code and proceed from the point above.

To help you perform a SIM Swap, please view step-by-step SIM Swap Guide. It also features a great video tutorial on the process too, which I recommend you view.

Please Note:-

> It can take up to 24 hours for a SIM swap to complete (but it’s usually quicker). And you will lose service while it's processing.

> SIM swap is not available between 9.30pm and 4.30am.

> If you’ve recently requested to move your number to or from giffgaff, please don’t try to swap your SIM.

Good luck to you.
