  Why do I not get delivery reports to messages I've sent . It is set in settings.

When sending an SMS, type *0# at the start
of the message, when the other phone receives
your text you'll get an automatic alert letting
you know the delivery was successful. Delivery reports don't work as standard the o2 network

enabling the setting on your phones settings to have a delivery report for a text message you have sent does not work with giffgaff

 

you need to insert the code at the start of the message - see the above post.

 

the downside is that you would have to key this in front of every message for which you want a delivery confirmation for.

Weeman I wish GG would do something about such members but don't think the forums can be monitored in such a way.

That's why we are here as well mate,we can monitor the forums and report things like this.

 

Usually the ed's pick up on stuff like this,and have a word with the member.

Why would you want them. ?
They can be activated in phone settings I believe.
