Which phone do you have? Do you see a connection symbol (3G, 4G, H, E, gprs)

Do you have another unactivated giffgaff Sim?

Then this is a connectivity issue rather than being out of data.  Check for service issues locally, or if possible test if it works somewhere else (at least 5 miles away)

Thanks figment, I checked the status page for this postcode area and said everything is fine, I can't move elsewhere right now, I will try it later.

Pop an unactivated Sim in the phone. Does a connection symbol appear?

I appreciate all the replies, so far I am inclined to believe that it's gg that messed up, as I got an email this morning saying that my current goodybag is expiring in two days, which is correct, but also it has 0 minutes and data remaining, which is incorrect... This, together with a few others who posted here the same issue makes me think it's a malfunction at gg side...

@iceberg2ice. Thsts a glitch in the emails that's sent out. That's nothing to do with your issue
Did you pop an unactivated Sim in your phone? They need to be less than (approximately) 9 months or it won't give a signal

Sorry I can't find the inactivated sim now, and would probably be more than 9 months old anyway. Earlier I had an exclamation mark on the network, now it's gone but still no access

Wipe the sim contacts with a cloth
Wait 10 minutes
And replace

Ok... I feel so sorry for wasting your time, I had my data turned off Smiley Sad it was all my mistake! Sorry everybody! Had to enable data under network, I am not sure how I turned that off!
