I have been with giffgaff a long time with same number 

Somehow today you have changed my number to something completely different

Can anyone assist me please

When you call your original number, what do you hear?

 

Does it ring or say, that the number is not recognised or something else?

the number i see isnt mine, i got a new sim and changed it via puk code months ago

ok it rings on the number on the giffgaff page BUT thats NOT my number but i changed my number with giffgaff long time ago
