Hi, do you see a different number next to your username here
Http://giffgaff.com/dashboard ?

Did you report your sim lost on your account?
What do you hear exactly when you call your old number?

What date approximately did you activate your previous sim
(when did you join giffgaff)

hi @davidholbrookgardens

You appeared to have created a new giffgaff account and activated this new SIM on this new account. This was not necessary and has given you a brand new number (as if you were a new customer). You cannot transfer numbers between active SIMs.

To achieve what you want and recover your original number:

1. Get this new SIM refunded: https://giffgaff.com/support/about-giffgaff/right-to-cancel

2. Order another SIM card: https://giffgaff.com/orders/free-sim

When the SIM arrives, do NOT create another new giffgaff account.

3. You must log into your OLD existing giffgaff account (the account associated with the number you wish to retain). If you can't remember your old account details, click here: https://giffgaff.com/support/lost-password
Enter your mobile number in the field, and choose to send your password reset link by email.

4. Once you are logged into the correct giffgaff account, follow the 'SIM swap' instructions: http://bit.ly/kbggswap

Your existing goodybag, credit, and original number will all get transferred to this new SIM.

hi again @davidholbrookgardens

You need to access your existing giffgaff account to report your phone / SIM lost.

Is your email address still active? If so, you should still be able to access it on a computer. Try the link again and then log into all your email accounts to check if you receive a password reset: https://giffgaff.com/support/lost-password

If you can't remember any of your account details, then you will have to ask an agent to reset the giffgaff account for you: https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/
They will ask you several security questions to prove the account is yours.

Once you regain access to your giffgaff account, please write down the password details securely.

@davidholbrookgardens
So you reported your previous sim lost?
How long ago did you do that?

And you see a new number next to your username here
Http://giffgaff.com/dashboard ?

What date approximately did you activate your previous sim
(when did you join giffgaff)

Are you able to log into that account?
