I am receiving nuisance calls at odd hours from NO CALLER ID number.

Does anyone knows how to block these calls please. I have asked before but non of the suggestions worked.

Many thanks

@mondana

Go into Settings Do Not Disturb and turn it on. You can set it to allow calls from All Contacts. The disadvantage of course is that unless a legitimate caller is in your Contacts they won’t be able to get through either.

This should help especially if the calls are happening at anti-social times.

Hi

Another possible solution would be the registering your mobile with The Telephone Preference service, if the calls are from sales companies they should stop usually in a couple of weeks. If the odd one decicides to call and you answer, if you mention the TPS they will quickly hang up.

If this helps please award kudos or best answer

Some phones have a mode where you set a time that it will not ring or beep unless the caller is a VIP .

Go into contacts and scroll down to ‘BLOCK THIS NUMBER’
its the last option on the list

Have a read here,

but if you block unkknown callers you will also block things like government departments/NHS calls as well as they may withhold their number.You might find though the calls stop pretty quickly once they can't get through.

Hi @mondana you can install a number blocking app, such as Mr Number, to block No Caller ID numbers. However this will block all such numbers so you might miss a legitimate call.
