New sim card

Hi all,

i have order a new phone and activated my new SIM card and kept my old number but my goodbag is not activated anyone knows why?

As you have just activated then this takes a little while and can be upto 24 hours to complete however it can be sooner, so please wait a little longer and you will soon be up and running….please do insert the sim into your phone and restart your phone every hour or so… don’t worry this is the normal procedure. A confirmation email will be sent to you.

 

You'll then see the "Congratulations. You made it!" screen to confirm it. You'll then be invited to use the Setup Wizard. This last step is very important as it is used to make sure your phone settings are correct, so you'll be able to use Internet and MMS.

Sim can take upto 24 hours to fully activate.  Try a few phone restarts to see if this forces the activation and connection onto the network.

 

If the sim is still not active by morning (8am), then I would then contact a giffgaff agent for more support using this link https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/Calls-texts-and-data/My-services-arent-working/form/

Hi all,

now I have got another issue :- (

I can make calls but I cannot receive from anyone but if I give a call to someone and if they reply my call within  seconds I can get the call but 10 minutes later if they try it goes straight away to voicemail so anyone can help please 😊 x

Try dialling the shortcodes *100# and *100*7# . What messages do you get back? Is it working now?
