Sorry to hear you have lost your phone, there is a little bit of good news, when you report the phone/sim as lost, you will be sent a replacement, and your credit will be transferred across to the new sim in your account, please note, when you order a replacement, it will be the only sim you can use, so you will have to wait for the postman, However, you do have a choice, if you dont report the phone/sim as lost you can do a sim swap, this will be a lot quicker but thats up to you......

It's only advised to do a SIM Swap if you meet the two following conditions:


  • You don't need to bar your phone
  • You already have an unactivated giffgaff SIM card

If you don't match these two conditions, you should order a replacement SIM through the Lost & Stolen procedure.

you must be logged in to your old account and follow the sim swap procedure will transfer your old number and previous credit to the new sim.

@victor2019  pick up a spare new sim from your local supermarket and you can swap your lost number and account onto it by using the sim's activation code after 4.30am and before 9.30pm whilst logged into your account.

Am just gonna wait for new sim i lost credit as months well up and get paid friday thanks anyway
