I've decided to use my cashback from giffgaff to part fund buying a Nexus 5

Question: does it have an internal battery?

Thanks

Maybe just me, but i would never buy a phone that i cant change the battery in, as over all  the years ive had a mobile its the one thing that i always need to change eventually.

Visiting the UK and need a giffgaff sim sent to you before you arrive ?

I've never understood why phone makers do this, except to fleece the punters.

It's glued in.

But....good news, it's only lightly glued in and is, when the need arises, user replaceable.

Batterylife has been good for me, much better than my N4 before it, though some are reporting less than stella performance.  My gut tells me this is a user issue with poorly coded apps being installed.

I am a power user, so have everything turned to max, and carry an Anker AstroSlim Powerpack (currently £17.99 on Amazon) just in case.  I've yet to need on my 2 hours commute home, and I did with my Nexus 4.

The batteries are around £15 BTW and are already available. You can open the Nexus5 case with nothing more comple than a guitar plectrum.
