Hi Giffgaff Community,

I need help. I've had my Giffgaff sim for about 2 months now and up until recently it's been working perfectly. Over the past fortnight it keeps coming up with a 'No SIM' alert, and although it still connects to the internet I have to keep turning it off and on again in order to get any reception to make calls, send messages etc. It was happening maybe once a day and now it's happening several times a day and is getting very frustrating.

If this has happened to anyone before I would really appreciate some help!

Thanks Smiley Happy

Hi there @oliviamorrow my friend
This happened to me not only last week matey the easiest thing to do is a sim swap

here's just how you do it matey~

Firstly back up your phone....not everyone feels the need to do this....

Sim swaps will only happen between 04:30am and 9:30pm.~
1# Go to https://giffgaff.com/activateand ~enter the 6 digit activation code from the back of your SIM pack.
2# The next page willl display information about your old and new sim my friend click where it says, "Yes, I want to swap my SIM", then click the confirmation "Yes, I'm sure"
3# Put the new SIM in your phone and restart it, it should activate straight away. If not, restart your phone after 30 minutes.

4# Enjoy Giffgaff ~ happydays

Hope that helps matey have a good one :-)
