No Service And No Topup

Hi,

 

On my phone it says no service, i have taken out my sim card and put it back in then keeps saying searching and then again comes up saying no service, why is this as it worked totally fine before.

 

Also i put £7.50 on my phone as a goody bag, it came up on my account as £7.50 and now it is saying i have none on there.

 

Please can you help me.

check your area status here for service problems:  www.bit.ly/ggservicestatus

If the signal in your area is working as normal then try a manual roam to update and refresh your network connection. http://is.gd/manualroam

hi you doing a manual roam for example connect to a network other than O2 like t mobile or orange then re do same again this time choose O2, then restart the phone.
and regards to your goodybag it should've worked instantly so please log in to your account and see if it shows live

If that fails you may need to update your Internet and sms settings see belowthe internet/data on the giffgaff network you need to setup your device with the correct Internet/APN settings. By following the link below you can enter your settings in manually the guide includes settings for the most popular devices on the market e.g. Android(HTC , Samsung, Xperia etc) iOS(iPhone, iPad) etc.

if your settings are correct please check the network status in your area to check for any faults with the network in your area by following this link www.bit.ly/ggservicestatus and entering your postcode.

Please note: the signal checker only gets updated once an hour so if your problem has just started, or you’re not sure how long it’s been happening, if it says all is good, keep trying for a while to see if it gets an update.

If everything is alright with the signal in your area then you should try a manual roam which will update your connection. Click on this link to view how to do a manual roam http://is.gd/manualroam

Also turn your mobile device off for about 5 mins and turn it back on to allow the network signal refresh.

Please check the signal status in your area to see if there are any known local issues, such as mast damage or routine maintenance being carried out.

Please note the signal status checker is updated hourly, so recent faults may not yet show up – so check back after a while, just in case Please follow this link www.bit.ly/ggservicestatus and enter your post code.

If signal looks all good you can attempt a manual roam to refresh your connection. http://is.gd/manualroam

Also turn your device off/on again to see if that helps.

Dial *100*7# to see your goodybag minutes balance. This should be more accurate than the website.

If the figures are different, text the word PASS to 43430 and wait a few minutes for the reply which will contain the username for your SIM. Check very carefully that this is the same username that you topped up on.

If the usernames are the same, have a look at your Payment Details to see the history of what you have paid for.

Hi, Thanks for your posts, i have checked but no luck, i have iPhone 4S.

 

On one of the links it says resolved

Also what happens with the money i put on? it said £7.50 but now says i have none.

Also my parents are in the same house as me and my mother is on giff gaff and hers is fine, i can''t understand it as mine was working fine too but its not anymore.

If u had 7 50 credit and u bought 7 50 goodybag your balance will now show nil, u should have active goodybag showing on your login page, check payment history in your accounts under payments see if it shows goodybag purchase, if it not there u may have used your credit up in calls texts and data

If you have the goodybag your credit will be zero if you have no goodybag credit could have been used on mobile data
