No signal...

No signal for 3rd day in a row. I have tried all of the methods below and none of them are working plus my phone does not need to be topped up. Not acceptable when I have a poorly relative that I can’t get hold of

Having issues with your signal is never fun but I can help you narrow in on the what is causing it. One of the first thing we need rule out is a known or reported mast issue in your area by following this link.

The network status should give you details of any local issues, including planned work, as well as showing signal strength (2G, 3G & 4G) & outages.
Please remember that the website is updated hourly and may not display any issues at the current moment.

If the signal looks all good, you also try performing a manual roam by following this guide that allows you to select the network manually.

Also, switch off your phone for a couple of minutes and back on again to see if that helps.

If the service look good i suggest you try the SIM in another device as it might be faulty. If your getting the same i suggest you replace the SIM card.

You can order another SIM from your spread page here and when the new SIM arrives perform a SIM swap.

The SIM swap process will transfer your current number and allowances e.g. goodybag and/or airtime credit over to the new SIM. The process should take no more than 30 minutes to complete and can be performed anytime between 4.30am and 9.30pm

There are no local problems. My husband, who lives in the same house, also on huff gag has no connection probelms

I have done all of these steps and none of them have made any difference, I want to call giff gaff but can’t because I can’t make any calls... not very helpful

Please try swapping SIMs with his phone to rule out any problems with your phone.
