Hi all,

Unforturtunately for reasons I won't bore you with, I've decided to leave Giff Gaff. I want to keep my number, so I put in a PAC code request. I did this on 4th July - and it's now the 9th July. This seems a bit crazy. Is it meant to take this long? What are other peoples experiences? On the 6th July I submitted a message to an agent asking what was going on but I haven't heard anything back yet.

Cheers

Try contacting an agent again, it shouldn't take that long.

Sorry to see you go.

By law, network providers have to give you your PAC within 2 hours. As your's has been a lot longer,I'd suggest you raise your case wit an agent again.

Thanks for the hint about calling 43430 - I didn't realise that was possible. I've just done that. It said I'll get sent one within 2 hours. Fingers crossed!
