Hello GiffGaffers..

I would like to know if we get points for assisting other user through PM if the other user chooses PM as a way of asking for help?!

If we don't, GiffGaff seriously need to consider this because, many users do require personal message assistance for a range of reasons.. Such as may be because of the sensitivity of their information or simply because their language is not that good to ask in public or may be because of some kind of phobia Smiley Happy

thanks,

No, I do not think Payback is offered from PM's ...And if it's a quick buck that people want, go get a real job.

Woah woah, it's not the quick buck.. But the fact that every little helps Smiley Happy

Having a payback every six months is already a huge factor in determining amount of time spent here..

No you get nothing except a nice feeling of helping someone out for PMs support.

You could always encourage them to post openly on the forums so others can benefit from the advice. Smiley Happy

sensitive information should never be privated between members whatsoever. If its a language issue ie someone whom does not speak english then they just put the native language they use and anyone whom speaks that language would help. Last week a german language customer posted with some users posting back in german!
If its a phobia about using the forums well gg is not the network they should be on thats the whole idea and point of gg being an online community forum.

I can understand that the same post we make on PM have less "Number of customers served" compared to community..

But still it's a highly customised and situation specific.. I can see the "Customer Satisfaction" level is higher through PMs Smiley Wink

That's never going to happen.  The most effective help comes from the community because of the input from multiple people.

payback for pm's would be open to abuse, and extremely difficult for giffgaff to control or monitor.

sorry dude.    Smiley Happy

@Zippy
Thanks for posting. Those were just an example that came at top of my head for users choosing PM over Community..

My original question is whether we get payback points if we help through PM?! Smiley Happy
