Phone not working since transferring to giffgaff

I have tried all the suggestions and nothing is working so I’m at a loss what it could be, when the sim is inserted into another phone it did say unable to activate data network

Are you currently in the UK or abroad?
Do you see a giffgaff or O2-UK logo next to the signal bars?

Do you see a connection symbol
(3G, 4G, H, E, gprs)
Next to the signal bars?

How many signal bars do you see at the moment?

And you can make /send and receive calls and texts ok?

Full signal and I am
In the uk I can make and receive calls and text messages

How many signal bars do you currently see?
If you switch to 3G from. 4G does data work?

Could you try these steps again
Go to
Settings
Mobile data
Switch off mobile data and 3G /4G and back on to reastablish the settings

Where it says
Use mobile data for
Check that all buttons are switched to on

Go to
Settings
General
Profiles
And remove any vpn and data profiles
(go to the next step if you don't see a profiles tab)

Go to
Settings
General
Reset
And click reset network settings
The phone will switch off and restart automatically in a few minutes

(extra step if you have a O2-UK logo rather than a giffgaff logo)
Install this profile via safari with wifi
Http://j.mp/iphoneprofile

Switch on airplane mode and switch off

Now try and connect to a Web page via safari

If your phone is showing signal bars and works for calls / texts, then the network and SIM are working.

In almost all cases like this, the reason why your phone is not connecting to mobile data is because your phone is not correctly configured.

i.e. it is all down to your phone settings, not the network.

The same thing applies when you try the SIM in another phone (you need to configure each phone)

Please go through the guide carefully again, remove all the mobile data settings, and set it up from scratch: http://giff.ly/gg_settings

And make sure the phone's mobile data is turned ON.

I assure you that you can get your mobile data working!

So it’s a full signal with the giffgaff logo. Prior to switching over I was on O2 I have also tried using 3G this does not work either
