I have read the information but am a bit confused about the procedure.
I have one ‘phone with a GG SIM which has a credit balance and another ‘phone on a monthly calls etc. contract with another provider who is ceasing mobile services – there is no credit balance and I have a PAC valid for a month. All the information I have seen implies that the other number can only be transferred to a new GG SIM, although there are also statements about “existing airtime credit on my giffgaff account will be available after the number has transferred in, although it will be removed from the account during the transfer.”
Can I simply port that other number to the existing SIM and retain the GG credit balance?
Is this just a straightforward port of the other number to the existing GG SIM which retains my balance or do I have to get a new GG SIM and do a SIM Swap?
