Replacement sim - activation

I was advised that I could either use the activation code that was provided to me in a message from Giff Gaff, or pick up a new sim. I picked up a new sim, but the activation code didn't work. I then tried to use the activation code provided to me, but my account hasn't activated and I can't do a sim swap. Please can someone advise? Thanks!

Try clearing your browser cache and history or use another browser e.g Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc and try activating the replacement SIM again here http://giffgaff.com/activate-sim .

If your still having issues activating your replacement SIM address this with a giffgaff agent to investigate. contact agent https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/SIM-and-number/Activating-my-replacement-SIM/form/   

please be aware agents can take up to 24 hours to reply. 

A reply from an agent can be found “Messages From Agents" box that is located on your "My Giffgaff" page , or the page can be accessed by following this link https://giffgaff.com/support/questions

Hi @lucyhannmo if you reported your previous SIM as lost/stolen then you can only activate and use the official replacement SIM (with its unique activation code). This replacement SIM will come in packaging similar to this:

Hi @joshpt - I'm going to wait overnight and hope it sorts itself out. I've contacted a giff gaff agent, hopefully they can help too. Thank you!

Whilst you're waiting for the agents can you try using another browser or device to check on the status of your SIM?
