Hello, I've just received a replacement sim as my phone was stolen. I've activated a couple of hours ago but I still can't use it (no signal). However, My account on the app was updated around an hour ago. I was wondering whether I just have to wait longer or there could be some problems. Thank you for your help!

A replacement SIM (for one that was reported lost or stolen) has a security bar that is usually removed automatically within a few hours.   If not, an agent will have to remove it for you.   During this time you should have a signal and be able to call voicemail (443) and a couple of shortcodes, but not other numbers.

Restart your phone at 30 minute intervals and check again.

I would wait a bit longer, it's usually 30 minutes but Giffgaff do say up to 24 hours. This info. might help you.
***ACTIVATING SIM: When activated your new phone number will be shown***
Follow the instructions on the card attached to the new SIM & wait up to 24 hours (usually 30 minutes).
Switch the phone on & off a couple of times.
When activated you should see Giffgaff in the top left-hand corner of your phones screen.
If you still have a problem look at the following link:
