Hi, I've just upgraded to a Samsung SIII and registered for their free SD card and package of downloads offer.  Having received an email confirming the registration and the SD card despatch I've had various difficulties accessing the free downloads.

One of the offers is for a larger space on Dropbox.  I've managed to get this but did notice that in their FAQ section for problems it stated that in order to get this your service provider must be involved in the promotion.

I'm now wondering whether the problems I'm experiencing with the free app downloads are because GiffGaff aren't signed up to this promotion as a network provider.   Has anyone else experienced the same difficulties?

I purchased a sim free pho20ne.  The offer is this:

http://www.samsung.com/uk/galaxyoffer/?pid=uk_home_thelatest_right2_galaxyoffer_20130409

I've got the sd card and the codes to download music/video from Samsung video hub to the value of £20.  It's just the other couple of apps offered free from the Samsungplay area don't seem to come up as free.

I suspect the free period was very limited.

I'm happy to have got the sd card and music but just wondered if anyone else had used this promotion and had problems downloading the apps offered for free.

I'm not aware of this personally but I would suggest that you use alternative cloud storage apps eg. I use box which gives me a free whopping 50gb storage

Dropbox works fine with giffgaff on my note. I have loads of space left to fill too! Are you sure you need to use offers with dropbox when they give you 50gig of storage anyway?

Strange, the app on my note says 6.6% of 53.25 GB space used?? But ive not done anything to increase it from the 2gig allowance..

Yes, I found the way round getting the increase in Dropbox.  I already use this app and realised that there was a start off tutorial which got you to send invites to various friends and as you complete the tasks it increases your storage.  With the promption it's given an extra 50gb for 2 years.

It is the most probably related to the network or the organization you purchased(upgraded) that phone from so in that case you won't be able to use that feature with giffgaff.
