Just received a text stating that my account has been suspended and to visit **link removed** to restore, pretty sure it's a scam but thought I'd ask here first

cheers

High @0zymandias and @maria_mike

You did well checking here first!

YES! it is a phishing scam!

Please DON'T click on any of the links- ever.

Whenever you receive anything- whether by text or email, claiming to be an instituition- ALWAYS verify with the instituition directly FIRST- before clicking on anything. In this case, you came straight to giffgaff to check and verify, which is excellent!

These are scammers trying to gain your log-in details which in return will provide them access to your card and banking details as all of this is available under your payments page.

Don't worry though, you're safe as you didn't click on anything.

@0zymandias Welcome to Giffgaff and the community

It’s a scam you will be redirected to another page where they will ask for you to put in your login details

please do not do this as they then will have access to your account

if you have already entered your login details I would advise you to change them immediately, you can change your password here ⬇️
