Hello

Firstly check the signal in your area to check for any faults with the network in your area. You can do so by visiting this website www.bit.ly/ggservicestatus

If everything is alright with the signal in your area then you should try a manual roam which will update your connection with the network. Click on this link to view how to do a manual roam http://is.gd/manualroam

You should also try turning flight mode /airplane mode on and then off again.

Have you contacted an agent to get the sim activated? All sims arrive unactivated.

Hi. Did you do a SIM swap http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084

You will then keep your current number, airtime credit and/or goodybag. The swap itself should take no more than 10 minutes normally (but in some cases can take up to 24 hours).

Hmm, can you try turning your phone off and back on. If that doesn't work check that your SIM is fully inserted into the SIM slot.
