Sim activated on unlocked phone but no signal or anything?

When you say you purchased a goodybag prior to activating the sim, Do you mean you purchased a goodybag at the time you ordered the sim? 
Yes at same time. 

Do you have another unactivated giffgaff sim card? I only have the old one used over 6 months ago

Hi @mundo78

Can you clarify you haven't tried simswap ( to OLD number, as if haven't used in 6months, your number will be recycled) and its a brand new activation. Did you use http://j.mp/activate_sim


Text NUMBER to 43430
See if you get a text bk with a number, if not, you should contact Agent if a reboot, and sim out/bk in doesn't help .

I texted that number. Got nothing back. I used that activation page yes. I put details from new sim card. The new sim card is in the phone.

I'm experiencing exactly the same issue as you have mundo78. I've tried all setting on the support page and different devices but still nothing. I have now contacted support and I guess will have to wait 24h and see. Very disappointing

I've also emailed an agent now with a link to this thread. Hopefully they can advise.

I've now done a sim swap with a new unactivated sim. Can see old number on dashboard. I will wait 24 hours.

Hi @mundo78 whilst you're waiting try swapping SIMs with another phone to see if there's a problem with your phone or the giffgaff SIM.
