Sim activation

My lost phone was stolen,can,t see me getting it back.It was a Samsung S7 Edge.

The phone I,m trying to activate is my old phone before I purchased the S7 Edge.

Test call-My number is>**phone_number_removed**.

nice idea keep turning my phone on and off,what about when i need to sleep?

Anyway,i got proper drunk on vodka,i did,nt have to think about it,lol.

Phone has not moved from the first position,I,ll try a sim swap later,I have a new sim.

Nothing worked,I,ve now got another phone.A friend sent it to me through the post.

And a new sim.

Please can you send me the link so that I can do a sim swap?Thanks.

Firstly (if you haven't already done so)
Switch your phone off, remove your replacement sim and put the new sim in

Does your phone show a signal and do you see the words
"not active" on the phone screen when you dial *100#

If so, a sim swap will fix the problem

Log into your my giffgaff page
Check you're in the correct account
(important if you have several accounts or manage accounts for others)

Then click here

Input the 6 digit activation code from the new sim in the box provided and
click the yellow activate your sim button

On the next page headed "SIM replacement "
click the yellow button
"yes I want to replace my sim"

On the next page headed "SIM replace"
click the yellow button
"yes I'm sure"

Your new sim will usually start working within 30 minutes
(switch your phone off and on every 10 minutes or so)

Hi Sloz.

Sorry my late response to you.

That activation process did,nt activate even after 24 hrs.

You advised l do a sim swap,which l followed up but that failed too.

This was on 26/04/19.

Luckily on this same day a Friday,l received a used phone sent from a friend.I performed a sim swap and it activated about 10 hrs later that day.

The other failed phone a Nokia 3310 which l purchased from giffgaff has a 12 month Warranty.I am intending to return this rubbish phone to the manufactorers,l,m still under warranty.

Besides the activation failures,this phone is also useless receiving Internet.
