Hi.I,m currently waiting for my new sim to activate?An Agent told me I may have to wait 24 hrs,its a replacement sim.I lost my phone and reported this to giffgaff,they sent me a new sim.

But, do I need phone credit in my phone to help activate it? I have zero credit at the moment?

Hi, 

Additional credit is not necessary. 

Keep restarting your phone from time to time.

Hi @seans39 keep turning your phone ON and OFF every 30 mins until you get a signal, you don't need any credit on your phone as once your sim comes through your goodybag and number will be on it

When fully activated both your mob number and any airtime credit in your goodybag will show on your dashboard https://giffgaff.com/dashboard

I don,t have any credit in my lost phone.I don,t have any credit in this phone either?

Hi again.Also, I do have a very strong signal,because the Agent checked it and told me so.

Hi.

Fistly,I have zero balance.

Secondly,my phone says emergency calls only.I did try 111,but no good.

Thirdly, I don,t have another phone to call this phone?

Anyway i don,t have a number, I.m waiting for the sim to activate, and then perform a sim swap to get old number back.

I entered the activate process at 9am.

The Agent replid me at 1.10pm. Thanks.

Yes I read my balance,an Agent added 2 pound.Why are you asking me this?

Yes I tried both your suggestion numbers,but it keeps saying "Emergency calls only"?

My phone also saying "No sim"? Been saying no sim since 9pm today?

The questions are to establish the status of your account and sim,

Could I ask where you purchased the phone you're using now?
And its definitely unlocked?

Are you able to ask someone to call you number to check what they hear?
Its quite important
