Sim is activated but still no service

My Sim has been been activated but I still have no service. Anyone know what's going on

when did you activate your gg sim?

did your phone recognise the gg sim before you activated it?

Reboot the phone and then,

 

  • Dial *100# to check your top-up credit
  • Dial *100*7# to check your plan

If you dial 43430  it should tell you if the Sim is Active.

Over 24hours ago it was activated, it was a replacement Sim for the one I lost

Most sims are activated in up to 4 hours, but it can take up to 24 hours. 

Please try turning your phone off and back on every 30 mins as this sometimes helps. 

 

If not once the 24 hours are up and it has still not activated you will need to contact an agent. 

As this is a account related issue you will need to speak to an agent, you can do so by clicking this link of https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/

 

 

giffgaff agents will do there best to get back to you within 24 hours but at busy periods it could be slightly longer.

If your request has not had a response within the 24 hours you can click this link below to ask an educator to chase it up for you.

But wherever you do don't resubmit your request to a agent as you'll go right to the back of the que!

Agent's are available from 8am till 10pm
7 days a week  but remember there's less staff on weekends so it could take a little longer for a reply.
