Sim not activating

Hi sorry if this is in the wrong place but I tried activating my sim at 7.30pm last night and I activated it with a £15 giddy bag but it has still not gone active. Can someone have a look and find out why and possibly get it started. Thanks.

As posted it's probably slow due to an issue with the system earlier.

Activations suspend at 10pm and don't resume until after 6am but the system might take longer as there is a bit of a back log at the moment.

If after 24hours it still hasn't activated then contact an agent (but first check the payment has been accepted in the payment history).

have a look on your profile it should be on there if its went on and if it has not after 24 hours then you should contact an agent they can check as we cant check in you account

Hey There,

First: You will need to give the systems around 30mins (but in rare events it can take up to 24 hours) to finish things off, then you will able to check your balances and new giffgaff number in the 'my giffgaff' section.

Once you can see your credit and new giffgaff number online, only then you will begin to be able to make calls on your phone and begin to use any credit or balances.

Please Read This: If your SIM hasn't started working 24 hours after topping up, then it may mean something has gone wrong in the process, see below on how to contact the agents - so they can investigate the matter for you.
