Sim not working

I joined giffgaff today, activated my sim card and goodybag which was all fine for around 45mins, now it has suddenly stopped working and i have no service. I have tried the sim in another phone and its still not working!?!?? Please help!!!

Please check the signal in your area, simply follow this link https://giffgaff.com/coverage-and-service to check either the network status or coverage. The network status should give you details of any local issues, including planned work, as well as showing signal strength (2G, 3G & 4G) & outages.

Please remember that the website is updated hourly and may not display any issues at the current moment.

If the signal looks all good, you also try performing a manual roam by following this http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/Force-the-change-of-SMS-settings/ta-p/4871794 guide that allows you to select the network manually.

Please try reconnecting by switching "Flight mode" On and back Off ("Settings" > "Flight mode"). This resets the active connection.

If you’re still having problems, then you can try turning your device off for a couple of minutes and on again to see if that helps.

Hi is your phone actually saying no service or has lost signal?
Or
Is your phone still picking up a signal?

Can you call 443?

I have tried all of the above with no success, service in the area is fine, manual roam has been performed and still no change

It says no service, not picking up any signal, cannot make any calls

Which phone do you have?
Try switching your phone off and remove the sim
Wipe the sim contacts with a cloth
Wait 5 minutes
And replace

Do you have another unactivated giffgaff sim card?

I have a Samsung A5
I have tried removing, wiping sim and replacing...
I have tried another sim and still not working

Can you still see a connection symbol
(3G, 4G, H, E, gprs)
Can you use data?

No there is nothing, its completely gone! No signal, no service. I can only use wifi

Are you able to try the sim in another phone?
It'll help to establish where the fault lies
