Hi, I've tried to find a page about (what i'd call) all the different Technological words / phrases / acronyms etc...
But I can't.

I used to understand all this stuff, but now am slipping behind.

(just for clarification- this is NOT intended for things like text speach: LOL or LMAO... it is about the technology)

What is:

Tethering- how does it work etc???

How much 1GB of internet gets you on a phone?

Hope this helps everyone,

chuck in your quiries too Smiley Happy

"Tethering" is the use of your cell phone -- or
other Internet-enabled mobile device -- as a
modem for another device, usually a notebook or
PDA. The connection is made either with a cable
(USB or serial) or wirelessly through bluetooth or
Wi-Fi (or, in the good old days, via infrared or
IrDA).

1gb of data? See this;
