I'm trying to tether my iPad through my iPhone, having just purchased a Gigabag (which has been activated). However, the tethering option is not showing in my Cellular Network settings on the iPhone, so I'm unable to switch tethering on.

Any idea how to fix this? I've already tried restarting the phone twice, but no luck.

Thanks.

There was a notice up when buying a gigabag stating that tethering will not work with iPhones. You must have missed that.

It does not work.Giffgaff does not have a carrier file with Apple so it cannot be enabled.

They certainly hid it very well. They need to make that a lot more prominent when buying a Gigabag (and phrase it as "EXCEPT for iPhones", rather than "but for iPhones".)

Only if jailbroken unfortunately, and there's no untethered jailbreak available for iOS 5 as yet.

Plus the fact that I would rather use an official method and pay giffgaff what they deserve rather than doing it through a back door...

Poor show, giffgaff.

Keep up mate. They allow it on Gigabags, but it's not available for the iPhone. This unfortunately isn't made clear enough by GG.
