Transfer a number

I have messaged Giff gaff every night since Tuesday and I still haven't received any form
Of reply.

I have messages on here about what happened. I clicked change number, not seeing the transfer number button so it give
Me a new giff gaff number.

Now when I want to transfer my number from my old network provider it won't let me as the original giff gaff number is in the box, not the new one they gave me and I cant change it.
Now this number sometimes lets me text and other times doesn't and sometimes lets people phone me and other times it says the number is not available. What's going on?
