Trying to keep my old number

I activatedbmy giffgaff sim today and I tried to keep my number but when I put my pac code in it says on the next page 'error'. I called ee and they confirmed the pac code is correct and valid. Can anyone help please?

You may need to wait a couple of hours (upto 24) for the sim to be fully activated before you can request a number transfer to giffgaff using a PAC from another network.

 

As long as you have confirmed the PAC is correct and valid with EE, then do not worry too much, try it again in a couple of hours or ideally in the morning.

 

If you still have problems tomorrow, then you should then contact a giffgaff agent who should be able to help you with this issue (if is is still there tomorrow).  Use this link to message an agent (these have access to your account, unlike everybody who is on this forum) https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/Number-transfers/Transferring-my-number-to-giffgaff/form/ an agent will aim to respond within 24 hours of your messaging them and you will see their reply (and your issue) here https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask

As long have a number on giffgaff account showing then be able to transfer in another number from another network operator with a pac code have from the network operator for the number wanting to transfer out.

there,  to transfer your number over to giffgaff you will need a pac code from your last provider then just fill in the form here 👇

Transfers don't happen over the weekend /holidays.
