Could someone please advise?

Thanks....

Use the link below and enter the correct settings for your device.
https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Settings-for-your-device/Internet-and-MMS-settings-APN-guide/ta-p/...

Also better way to send MMS is to use third party APPS e.g WhatsApp, Viber, FB Messenger etc

Hi .... yes I have tried this.

The phone was originally purchased from Tesco, and had all their proxy settings installed.I have tried deleting the existing settings, then entering the "giffgaff" settings, but all to no avail I'm afraid.......

Thanks for your response though.....

If you've got the correct giffgaff settings saved for the MMS then the only only thing it can be is your actual phones settings.
So check your phones multimedia message settings you should be able to find these under your normal text message settings. I'm guessing they've been set on some kind of restriction.

Also instead of deleting the correct APN&MMS settings as in some cases when you delete them they just revert back to the default settings.
So try to open and save a new APN&MMS settings. There should be a ""+"" icon on the page if not you'll see a ""ADD"" option.

Hi , yes the phone is unlocked. Since I bought it from Tesco, I used a TalkTalk SIM for 12 months. Calls and SMS work fine, it's just these blessed MMS functions that don't work....

Thanks...
