What have I been charged for?

Hi
I signed up to giffgaff a few weeks ago and topped up in readiness for swapping from my Vodafone contract when it expires. I haven't yet used my giffgaff sim yet my credit has gone down by £0.06p. I can't find where to see what this charge is. The only time I have done anything with the sim was to make a call to a line that I knew wouldn't be answered (it wasn't)

I'm confused. Obviously it is only 6p but something seems not right.

Apple sends a text without telling or asking you, for iMessage or FaceTime registration. A text costs 6p.

Did you put it in a iPhone?

As I'm sure the iPhone texts out when you put a sim in to join FaceTime and iMessage

So that could be where your 6p went

Hi if you had apps running in the background when you made the call credit would have been used switch cellular off make the call and if it happens again contact an agent it may be a gg to o2 connection charge?

Could be data because normally its 20p per 20MB but when it's push notification ( background data ) eats less than 1MB than they charges you in pennies !
