am thinking of coming back to giffgaff, although I may go to EE. Based on people experience, does giffgaff provide good 4g coverage?

Coverage is highly location-dependent.  You can look at giffgaff/O2's coverage maps, but the only reliable way to test actual coverage and service quality is by getting a giffgaff SIM.

It all depends on what area you are in and how many people are using it etc. From my experience in my area it was poor. Speed test for me was like 1.5 MBS If it was lucky.

It depends where u live, if u were not happy with 3g data when u were last here it's no better now than it was and loads complain that since 4g was enabled it very slow,

Reasoable coverage but generally poor speeds. It's quite normal to have around 1mb download speeds or less through the normal working day. However, the speed through the middle of the night is really fast!
