Hi guys i am new to the forum, anyway i have recently moved over to giffgaff!

The problem is i put my sim card in my unlocked blackberry 8900 and i am getting no signal, all that is showind up is the red SOS sign!

I tried the phone with a t-mobile sim and i am recieving a good signal with that so i aint sure its the phone, and my gg sim is getting a good signal in an old nokia i have!

I also checked the O2 coverage website and it says that i should be receiving a good 2g signal in my area!

Please help it driving me nuts!

Thanks!!!!!!

Forgive me for asking this but have you successfully activated your SIM and entered all the Internet and MMS settings into your blackberry?

The fone i deffo unlocked as i have had a t-mobile sim and an orange sim in there in the past, i got a message with internet settings when i first put the sim in. And giffgaff say that the sim is registered. How would i go about entering the internet settings manually if the y wernt entered automatically?
