You need to go to this page: https://giffgaff.com/support/lost

And block your phone and SIM. This will block your current SIM if you did a SIM swap.

This is the only way you can block the IMEI number.

Once you've blocked both the phone and SIM giffgaff will send you a new SIM by first class post to replace your old one with all the same account information and the same number.

The IMEI number is specific to a particular phone, if you still have the packaging it might be on the box label, of the lost phone.

To get the IMEI number of your replacement phone that you are using now, dial * # 0 6 #     (without spaces).

Make a note of it somewhere. But DON'T give Giffgaff that number! Not unless you lose this phone too Smiley Sad

If you've already started using the SIM in another phone then I guess it will block the phone you are using now.

This is a good point. Sorry that I didn't think of that when I first posted.

I wonder if there is a way to block the IMEI of the phone you were using previously through the agents.  This is something to look into I guess.

From the account it was linked to in the help section or when you sign in to the main account but be sure it is the old account or else you will do it to the current one in use

It's a bit of a problem. I'd be interested to know what the agents say.
