calls and recieve

no longer able too recieve or make calls it goes giffgaff  voicemail when people try call and when i try it says  network  not registered  it has been working  fine untill yesterday

i have checked the coverage that is fine and restarted phone and cleanned sim

i can use WiFi only at home not able too recieve or text all calls at all i dont have another sim

Occasionally a sim does become faulty

Order some (free) sims now

Or
If you want a sim sooner
obtain from a nearby store several stock them including Tesco, Sainsbury's and argos cost is a £1 or less

Before you perform the sim swap back up your contacts if they're saved to the sim

When you obtain a sim, switch your phone off and remove your sim and pop the new one in
And dial *100#
If you see the words
"not active"
On the phone screen instead of not registered on network
It should follow that a sim swap will fix the problem

Log into your my giffgaff page
Http://giffgaff.com/dashboard
Check you're in the correct account
(important if you have several accounts or manage accounts for others)

Then click here
Http://giffgaff.com/activate

Input the 6 digit activation code from the new sim in the box provided and
click the yellow activate your sim button

On the next page headed "SIM replacement "
click the yellow button
"yes I want to replace my sim"

On the next page headed "SIM replace"
click the yellow button
"yes I'm sure"

Your new sim will usually start working within 30 minutes
(switch your phone off and on every 10 minutes or so)
