You need internet settings... I will tell you how to do it for many phones so if the one made for yours doesn't work you have other things to try... For most phones you can just text the word 'Settings' to 2020 for the internet settings and 'mms' to 1010 for MMS Settings if you want MMS as well... However it doesn't work on all phones (including newer smartphones), so try it, but if it doesn't work you can always use the second option and enter them manually in the phone's internet settings menu like this:

GPRS/3G Settings:

Connection Name: giffgaff - GPRS
APN - Access Point Name: giffgaff.com
Proxy Server Address: 193.113.200.195
Proxy Port:8080
Login - Username: giffgaff
Password: password
MCC: 234
MNC: 10

MMS Settings:

Connection Name: giffgaff - MMS
APN - Access Point Name: giffgaff.com
Username: giffgaff
Password: password
Server: http://mmsc.mediamessaging.co.uk:8002
MMSC: http://mmsc.mediamessaging.co.uk:8002
MMS proxy: 193.113.200.195
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 10
APN type: mms

If you don't want to use the second option or it didn't work and you have a smartphone your third option is to follow one of these guides to set up your phone for the internet. Just click the link for the phone you have if it's there:

If you need more help you get your phone connected to the Internet, go to: http://support.giffgaff.com/app/home where giffgaff have already created a large database of settings and instructions for entering them on many devices.

Just enter your device's make and model in the search box!
If your phone is found just click the link and it should display a detailed step by step guide to entering the giffgaff settings required for your particular phone to be able to access the internet through giffgaff.

If the steps required for your exact phone are not found then please consider looking at model names close to yours as the menus of manufacturer's phones usually stay the same as they use the same operating systems, or check the forum for any posts relating to your device for more information.

I hope I have been helpful and this helps you get it working!

|MMS Settings|

Send the word SETTINGS to 2020 Via Sms/Text from your mobile, If the settings installed then the next step is to power your phone off then power back on then you should be up and running,

If the settings did not work by sending a text then I suggest doing it manually found below.

|Manual Input|
( Go to Multimedia Message Settings)

MMS Settings

Connection Name: giffgaff - MMS
APN - Access Point Name: giffgaff.com
Username: giffgaff
Password: password
Server: http://mmsc.mediamessaging.co.uk:8002
MMSC: http://mmsc.mediamessaging.co.uk:8002
MMS proxy: 193.113.200.195
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 10
APN type: mms

MMS also cost 16p each to send and they are not included in any of the goodybags as a free bundle or a add-on,

They will be charged from your existing payg / airtime balance if you wanted to send MMS

Thanks
