Giffgaff can rectify that

access the trial see below
and ask an educator to get you onboard

So, if you want to join the trial you will need a 4G SIM and a 4G phone. For everyone who joined giffgaff by 30th June, is opted in to receive messages from us and who has not already signed up to the trial, you will be receiving an email shortly with a unique link to sign up and get access to the 4G trial goodybag. If you have a 3G phone, you will still get the email and you'll be able to register your interest in 4G. Over the next few days we will also be sending out newsfeeds to your My giffgaff dashboard, so it'll remain easy to sign up throughout the trial. If you have any trouble then please just let us know

The area that you live in or had your phone or SIM delivered to is not a prerequisite.

If a member has been told that they cannot join the trial because of their post code then let an educator know and we'll chase it up for

The full service proposed 4G goodybags were £10 for 500MB and £12 for 2GB, each with 250 minutes. The other goodybags were also for 2GB but had increasing call minutes for increasing cost.

If your new phone supports 4G signals, then sign up to the trial.  Make sure you've got a 4G sim card though!
