I was with Tesco Mobile. I have been given a PAC code by them. Giffgaff sim arrived okay. Activates okay. New sim inserted okay. Phone (Moto E) says 'Network locked - emergency calls only'. I have not been prompted to put in my PAC code at any point. Giffgaff offers a list of hundreds of Motorola phones, none of which seems to be mine. Phone asks for 'Sim network unlock pin', is this the same as my sim activation code? Or is this my PAC code? Help gratefully received.
I've taken some advice, which is that 'SIM network unlock pin' is actually the PUK code given by Giffgaff. I've found this in my profile, and have entered it onto my phone with no joy; it has been rejected. What do I do now?
