Hi

I seem to have very bad reception while on the giffgaff network, my phone works fine with my o2 sim and tmobile sim, but with the giffgaff sim i only seem to get reception outside the house. (o2 sim is fine in the house) same phone same settings.

Is any one else having the same or similar problems at the moment ?

Thanks

Should be exactly the same signal strength for O2 and giffgaff, so you possibly have a faulty SIM (assuming that you are using the same phone and switching SIMS to test this? )

Check your settings you should get same service as O2.

Try flicking your through GSM only and GSM/WCDMA Auto to see if makes difference.

Get ready for a swathe of links to check the O2 network status....

Not that any of these will help!

I do not believe we get the same quality of service as O2 customers, even though we share the same network.

There may be a difference in actual data speed between O2 and giffgaff, but the signal strength is a constant and cannot be discriminated between the two.
