@yyzz0315

You have three main options - please read all three and work out the best option for you.

Option 1 - slowest option but cheapest

Log into your account (the one with the lost giffgaff sim and report the sim lost stolen https://giffgaff.com/support/lost - this will block the old sim card (so if anyone else finds it and puts it in their phone, it would not work.  giffgaff would send you out a sim card that is pre-linked to your account (could take a couple of days) and when you get the sim, you re-activate it here https://giffgaff.com/support/sim-and-number/activate-your-sim when logged into your account.

Option 2 - Slowest option, but helps if you find your old sim first

Log into your account and order a new sim from your account https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm (do not report the old sim lost or stolen).  giffgaff will send you a sim in the post (could take a couple of days) when you get the phone, you perform a Sim Swap - guide here https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084 - the beauty of this option is if you find your lost sim before the new one arrives, you can still use it.

Option 2 - Quickest option but will cost you approx £1.

Do not report your sim lost or stolen on your account.  Pop into a shop that sells giffgaff sim card (they cost about £1 and most shops now stock them).  Once you have the sim, Log onto your account (don't create a new account) then perform a SIM SWAP - as the guide showed above and here https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Using-giffgaff/What-is-SIM-Swap/ta-p/7320084 - the beauty of this, is it is quickest, can be up and running and not have to wait for giffgaff to send you a replacement sim - but will cost you approx £1 to buy a sim

Hope this helps and does not confuse?!

You can report a SIM lost or stolen at https://giffgaff.com/support/lost and GiffGaff will dispatch a replacement SIM (with the same number on it).

You should note that:

1. Starting this process will cause the account to be blocked immediately (to stop anyone else using it), until the replacement SIM is activated (an Agent will need to unblock the account)

2. The new SIM can be fitted in any handset, as the smaller size ones simply pop out from the larger one

3. Any GoodyBag and/or airtime credit will automatically be transferred to the new SIM

Hi there, If you go into your account, you can order a new sim card there. There is also an option to keep your old number or to transfer your old number to a new sim card (something I did recently). I'm only a giffgaff user trying to help so I cannot do this for you (and your number is not visible in the forum) but if you have problems, you can always ask an expert. Hope this helps.
