My daughter's phone is experiencing screen problems. There are black lines on the right hand side, the touch screen isn't working and the home button is stuck.

Gifgaf told us that need to remove the phone from 'find my phine' on using apple I'd. Unfortunately the apple I'd instructions say that I need another iOS device or Mac to do this...I have neither. I am not familiar or confident with  I phones or apple if as I have an android. Can anyone give advice about what I can do to get this looked at. Thank you

This sounds like screen damage and so the screen will have to be replaced, as this wont be covered under any warranty you may have, a local phone shop should be able to help, i would guess the cost at approx £80 and a little lot more if done at an apple store.

I had my screen replaced here.

Hiya @chippyreynolds
This does seem to be a screen issue and I would recommend taking it to a phone repair shop or if it's under apple/giffgaff warranty, contact the holder of the warranty. Alternatively you can just do the screen replacement yourself (I do a lot of these repairs, it's really not that difficult) and pay around 25 to 35 pounds instead of the 80 or so pounds a shop would charge you

Hopefully this helped; have a nice day-
