i have an Iphone 4s and my internet is not working

First off, try texting the word "settings" to 2020.

Hi, To install your iPhone settings you can do this in two ways via wifi go here: http://shfonic.co.uk/giffgaff/
Or.manually. After itunes has updated your iPhone, it will reset your mobile data settings, so you need to re install them.

 

The " Network " option has been replaced with " Mobile Data "
There are three iPhones in the family that use these settings successfully.


These settings can be entered on iOS by going to Cellular: settings>general>mobile data>mobile data network

Mobile Data
APN .............. giffgaff.com
Username ... vertigo
Password ... password
Visual Voicemail (just leave as is, giffgaff do not support visual voicemail)
MMS
APN.............. giffgaff.com
Username... vertigo
Password... password
MMSC......... http://mmsc-ac.mms.o2.co.uk:10021/mmsc
MMS Proxy 193.113.200.195:8080
Max message size 2097152
MMS UA Prof URL (just leave blank)

Do NOT press the Reset Settings button. Once the settings are in, turn off phone using the red slider till the screen is completely blank. Then reboot. If you don't see the apple logo, you will lose the settings.
Go into Settings, Messages and ensure that MMS Messaging button is set to ON. Also turn imessages ON.
Press Settings, General, Mobile Data and make sure Enable 3G and the Mobile Data buttons are set to ON.
Then Settings, Phone And check My Number is correct. Then Settings, Carrier and change to O2-UK.

 

Also make sure your goodybag has not expired or you have enough credit to get onto the internet

Go on the App Store and download the giff gaff wap app, this will allow you to download the exact settings by a click of a button Smiley Happy hope I helped

If you do,Please text the word "settings" to 2020.Your giffgaff "settings" should then be sent to you,via text message.To set up your internet and mms "settings" using giffgaff,on your iphone is very easy to fix and If you also have access to wifi,simply go to the app store, and download the "my giffgaff" app,or simply click onto the link below to go straight there and download the app.

Once you have downloaded the app,open it and click onto MORE.
Then click onto Apn "settings" Your "settings" will now be installed for you.If you would like to manually enter your "settings",here they are.

1) check if you have an old profile.

2) Head to "settings"-General-profile. If you can't see an old profile,move onto number 2.

If you Can see an old profile,tap it and press remove.

2) Go back to "settings"-General and press reset.

3) Press reset network "settings" and follow through.This will delete your wifi passwords,and you may need to enter your passcode,at which point your iphone will reboot.

4) Go back to "settings"-General- mobile data or network,depending on your ios version.

5) Tap mobile data network.
Now under mobile data,enter the below information.

APN-giffgaff.com

Username-vertigo

Password:[leave blank]

Leave visual voicemail as it is. 6) scroll down,under mms enter.

APN-giffgaff.com

Username-vertigo

Password:[leave blank]

MMSC-http://mmscmediamessaging.co.uk:8002

MMS max message size-2097152

Finally,give your iphone a few minutes to think,and you should be up and running Smiley Happy.

Send the word 'settings' to 2020
Enter these settings manually if texting 'settings' 2020 doesn't work for both internet and MMS in one.
 
The User name for Iphones and Ipads is’vertigo’ instead of ‘giffgaff’:

Regd Internet/MMS settings, you need to set the network internet settings as detailed below -

GIFFGAFF INTERNET SETTINGS=
Internet and mms settings...

Text "settings" to 2020

If all that fails here are the basic APN settings to manual input...

Manual Settings:

Connection Name: giffgaff
APN - Access Point Name: giffgaff.com
Login - Username: "giffgaff" for all devices or "vertigo" for iPhones and iPads
Password: the password is "password"
Proxy: <<leave blank>>
MMSC: http://mmsc.mediamessaging.co.uk:8002
MMS proxy: 82.132.254.1
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 10

At the end, turn your phone off and then on again – and hopefully (fingers crossed) it should work
